White-Eared Bulbul is an Indian bird that bears a scientific name of "Pycnonotus leucotis". It is a member of the bulbul family.

White-Eared Bulbul is found in Kuwait, Bahrain, mid and southern Iraq, southern Iran, Tehran Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, north-western India, in parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and on the Arabian peninsula. White-Eared Bulbul is also found in the Eastern Ghats Mountain Range in India.

Structure of White-Eared Bulbul
White-Eared Bulbul is very similar in appearance to the Himalayan White-Cheeked Bulbul "Pycnonotus leucogenys" but smaller and uncrested and with a larger white cheek patch. It has a pale bare eye-ring. The vent is orange yellow. Sexes of White-Eared Bulbul are alike.
Habitats of White-Eared Bulbul
White-Eared Bulbul is found in scrub forest and garden land of the Middle East, Arabian Countries, Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats especially in dry and arid areas like Maharashtra, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh. White-Eared Bulbul is also found in flocks or pairs in the mangroves, gorging on the fruits of the Meswak bush. White-Eared Bulbuls are usually seen in pairs or small groups.
Feeding of White-Eared Bulbul
White-Eared Bulbul feeds on fruits and insects and breeds from March to June.
Family of White-Eared Bulbul
There are over 137 species of the bulbul family; Pycnonotidae. The more common name, white–eared (Pycnonotus leucotis) is often confused with the white-cheeked (Pycnonotus leucogeny) a much larger Himalayan bulbul with a very pronounced crest.
Colour of White-Eared Bulbul
White-Eared Bulbul has a medium grey body, jet black head, subtle rounded black crest and a distinct white patch over the ear coverts; hence the name. The feet and legs of White-Eared Bulbul are mottled dark grey/ brown.
