Bhimili or Bheemunipatnam is a drowsy little town is second earliest town in nation and has been located at confluence of stream Gosthani River and also Bay of Bengal. Bhimili Swamy Bhimeswara temple embraces every guest to its little town. According to the record, temple had been designed during 1226 through Salivahana saka. There are group of temples along the range of sea shore.

Location of Bheemili or Bheemunipatnam
Bheemili or Bheemunipatnam has the 24 kilometers seaside street through Vizag till Bhimili is the lengthiest seaside streets in Indian. These sun-kissed seashores and path create suitable place for car/bike rides.

Bay of Bengal and Bheemunipatnam Beach
Bheemunipatnam Beach lies at the mouth of Gosthani River joining the Bay of Bengal and forms an alluring recess to the town. The confluence point of River Gosthani into the Bay of Bengal is a scenic view from the hilltop temple.

Erramattidibbalu
On its way to Bhimili one can see in "Erramattidibbalu", wonderful development of the red sand. Mostly this have position been used for the shooting reasons. It always has been favoured hang out for families.

Temple of Lord Narasimha
There is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha on the eastern side of Pavurallakonda facing the sea. As per the historical evidences the temple is constructed around 14th century by Mindi Kings. There are two more temples in the town of Bhimili, which dates back to the times of Chola Kingdom as Bheemeswaralayam and Choleswaralayam.

Dutch Settlements in Bheemunipatnam
Dutch is known as Bimilipatnam. Bheemunipatnam was one among the major Dutch settlements of the Dutch Coromandel coast in the 17th century. There are remnants of the Dutch East India Company trading post when the town was a port. The town contains one of the oldest Christian cemeteries on the coast. Bhimili also had a currency mint during the times of Dutch.

Lighthouse in Bheemunipatnam
The lighthouse was established dated to 1868 that acts as a citadel on the shores of Bheemili beach. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha on a hillock. Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami has set up the Vedic Adhyayana Research Institute Jeeyar Ashram on the immaculate beach of Visakhapatnam-Bheemunipatnam Road.
