Tilwara Ghat is located at the bank of River Narmada in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In this ghat the mortal ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed.

It is considered as holy and pious as the River Ganga. Tilwara Ghat is one of the highly developed and flourished Ghats along the banks of the Narmada River.

Tilwara Ghat has played an important role in the Indian history. The first session of the Tripuri Congress was held at the Tilwara Ghats in the year 1939. The ashes of the great Indian freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi was submerged under water at this site. A Gandhi Smarak has been built here in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi.
