Suryakund Hotspring, also known as Surajkund, is a natural hot spring in the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. It has hot water with sulfur in it, which has healing properties. Tourism department of Jharkhand Government has planned to build this spot potential for commercial purpose. Suryakund Hotspring is claimed to be the hottest spring of India with its surface temperature of 87 degree Celsius and its average subsurface temperature of 165 degree Celsius. On the basis of recent assessment, India possesses large potentiality for geothermal energy and Suryakund Hotsrping is one of the most prospective sites. There are five kunds or springs in total - Surya Kund, Lakshman Kund, Brahm Kund, Ram Kund and Sita Kund. These are located in one place with water varying from very hot to cool. A Durga temple has been constructed recently near to this spot.

Suryakund Hotspring is located at a distance of 72 km from Hazaribagh and 5 km from Barkatha. This hotspring can be visited by National Highway 19. Ranchi Airport and Hazaribah Town Railway Station are the mediums for transportation to reach this spot.
