Screen Awards for Best ComedianScreen Awards is one of the most esteemed award ceremonies of India dedicated to Hindi film industry. It honours the film personalities for their professional excellence. In the event the film fraternity itself presents the awards to the artists under different categories. The winners and nominations for the event are chosen by a panel of jury members. The year 1994 marks the inception of this award ceremony and is conducted every year since then. Screen Awards is the only award ceremony of India which has been graced by the Executive Director and the Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

20th Screen Awards
20th Screen Awards was organized to commemorate the best movies of the year 2013. It was held on 14th January 2014 and was aired on Life Ok channel on 25th January 2014. The grand ceremony was anchored by Shahrukh Khan. Screen Awards for Best Comedian are awarded to the actors who render an impressive humour to the films through their comic portrayals. In 2014 the award was won by Richa Chadda for the movie Fukrey.
