Siddhagad Fort

Siddhagad Fort is located in the Thane District of Maharashtra. The fort is popular among trekkers. There is Siddhagad waterfall near the fort where freedom fighter Hutatma Kotwal was killed.

Siddhagad Fort can be visited as a day trip from Khanivare, Narivali or Jambhurde. It is a popular trek route to the fort from these places among trekkers. Siddagad waterfall is located near to the fort, where social reformer and freedom fighter Veer Hutatma Kotwal was killed on 2nd January 1943 along with his colleague Hiraji Patil.

Siddhagad Fort is 20 kilometers away from Murbad. Thane Railway Station and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport are the nearest to visit the fort. National Highway 53 connects Thane to other major parts of the country.
