Serolsar Lake is a lake situated amidst in the serene forest lands of Himachal Pradesh. The rugged landforms and the cool climate is apt for trekking for any amateur trekker. Serolsar Lake is a 6km easy to moderate trek from Jalori Pass which is located at a height of 3140 metres above sea level. Serolsar Lake mesmerizes the traveller with its crystal clear shimmering waters reflecting the blue of the sky and the green of the oak tree. There is a small Hindu temple near Serolsar Lake.

To reach Serolsar Lake from Jalori pass, one has to need trek. One needs to take Banjar road and get into the forest and then reach Serolsar Lake. Other starts from Hindu temple, which is located near Jalori Pass market. The trek needs 1.5 hrs from Jalori Pass to Serolsar Lake.

Best Time to Visit Serolsar Lake
The best time to visit Serolsar Lake is from May-June and September- January. During the monsoon months of July-August, Serolsar Lake is prone to landslides as the rest of Himachal Pradesh. Jalori pass is covered with snow during the winter months from November to April and the road is closed to traffic.
Visiting Information
To visit Serolsar Lake, one can drive to Jalori Pass via Banjar, Jibhi and Shoja. The 23 kilometers drive takes about an hour and a half as the drive upto Shoja and further on to Jalori Pass is quite steep. One need to reach Jalori Pass by taking the dirty road going left into the woods which goes upto the Nature Camp run by the Forest department.
