The monastery houses a golden statue of Lord Gautama Buddha, which makes it a renowned monastery of the state. Apart from that, Samten Yongcha Monastery also exhibits carvings, sculptures, Buddhist artifacts etc. This is one of the most popular monasteries of Tawang.
