Sachin-Jigar, Indian Movie Music DirectorSachin-Jigar is a well known Indian music director duo comprising Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya. They have composed a number of songs for the Hindi film industry in addition to scoring numerous successful soundtracks. They began their career in the music industry by assisting Pritam in setting up the musical arrangements and gradually established themselves as independent music director duo. Sachin-Jigar are renowned for presenting a number of techno hits to Hindi flicks but they are also credited for composing many soothing and soulful romantic songs.

Early Life of Sachin-Jigar
Sachin Sanghvi was born on 14 June while Jigar Saraiya was born on 12 April. Sachin Sanghvi hailed from the suburb of Ghatkopar in Mumbai where Gujarati speaking population dominated. Sachin indulged in the world of music at a young age. During the days of Navaratri Sachin used to be the singing sensation in his locality owing to his soothing voice which accompanied the Garba beautifully. Sachin-Jigar got an opportunity in the Indian television just after they had established themselves in theatres.

Career of Sachin-Jigar
Sachin-Jigar, Indian Movie Music DirectorSachin-Jigar have composed music for various events and at varied platforms starting from theatre to television soaps to jingles. They have worked for more than 500 plays and 5000 television episodes encompassing diverse genres and channels. Jigar Saraiya previously used to assist the famed music director Rajesh Roshan and there he once met another talented musician Amit Trivedi. Amit then introduced Sachin Sanghvi to Jigar. Later, in the same year, they both united and began assisting Pritam in the latter`s musical arrangements. Gradually Sachin-Jigar started programming and arranging for most of the Bollywood music directors including Vishal Shekher, Pritam, Sandesh Shandaliya, Nadeem Shravan, Anu Malik, A. R. Rahman and many others. Subsequently they ventured into music direction independently as a duo.

They composed one song for the movie Life Partner in 2009. Later in 2011 they got their first assignment as an independent music director duo with the movie F.A.L.T.U which featured the hit songs `Le Ja Tu Mujhe` and `Char Baj Gaye`. In the same year they also scored for the film Shor in the City and Hum Tum Shabana. The movie Shor in the City had the famous song `Saibo` voiced by Tochi Raina and Shreya Ghoshal which garnered widespread appreciations from critics and masses. Following this they composed music for the films Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Go Goa Gone, I, Me Aur Main, Himmatwala, Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, Ajab Gazabb Love, OMG: Oh My God!, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. They collaborated with Yash Raj Films and composed music for Shuddh Desi Romance. In the year 2014 they worked under the banner of Dharma Productions as a music director for the movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Other ventures of the duo include Entertainment and Finding Fanny. Jigar Saraiya has also lent his voice to many compositions. In 2013 they received the 6th Gujarat Gauravvant Award.
