Rupali Ganguly, Indian Television ActressRupali Gangualy is an Indian television and theatre actress. She is the daughter of the veteran filmmaker Anil Ganguly. Rupali Gangualy has made a special mark in the world of television. She played the role of Dr Simran Chopra in the famous serial `Sanjivani`. She started acting from the tender age of 7 by enacting a small role in the film titled `Saheb`. She has also acted in some of the movies directed by her father.

After the twelfth standard Rupali Gangualy participated in the Femina Miss India Contest and managed to reach till the last 20. After the Femina Contest she got a film called `Do Aankhen Barah Haath` in which Govinda and Bappi Lahiri were actively involved. She then acted in a film called `Angara` which was a home-production. In this film she was cast opposite Mithun Chakraborty. Following that she received several offers but things did not work out in her favor. Later she was offered TV serials.

Rupali Ganguly is also well known for the role she played in the famous soap `Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii` under Balaji Productions. She has also acted in many other popular serials like `Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin` in Sony Tv Channel, `Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai`, Baa Bahu Aur Baby and many others. Rupali Ganguly has participated in many reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha, and Bigg Boss (Season 1) (2006) and Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 (2009). She also gave voice over in animation film, Dashavatar
