Rahil Azam was born on 25th September 1981. Rahil Azam earlier worked as a software engineer but later moved into acting. This actor hails from Bangalore but later came to Mumbai in the year 1999. He enrolled in Kishore Namit Kapoor`s acting classes and slowly began to make a mark of his own.
Career of Rahil Azam
Rahil Azam did his debutant role in Ek Tukda Chaand Ka, which was telecasted in Zee TV in 2001. In that serial, he played the lead role. Later, he got the opportunity to work in the TV serial Hatim, which was broadcasted in Star Plus from 2003-2004. Hatim brought him the fame and he is still mostly remembered for his performance in this daily soap. He was the main lead of this action, adventure and drama show. In 2004, he won the Favourite Action Star Award for Hatim in Star Parivaar Award show. He later essayed the lead role in the serial `Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag.`
His lead role in `Resham Dankh` opposite Mouli Ganguly on STAR One was also appreciated a lot. In that serial, Azam portrayed the role of a successful business tycoon with a happy life at home. The whole serial is based on the journey of this man reflecting various shades of his life. He next acted in the serial `Ye Meri Life Hai` on Sony TV Channel. His cameo role as Ashmit Patel was liked by many in that TV show. Rahil Azam also appeared as the angry young man for the afternoon soap `Bhabhi.` Soon after this, he played a psycho in a cameo role for `Kahiin Kissi Roz`, and then a man with a split personality in `Achanak 37 Saal Baad.` He also played a significant role in the afternoon soap `Saarthhi` that was aired on STAR Plus.
