During the Mandalam Festival, she has danced at the lotus feet of Lord Ayyappa at the Ayyappa Temple in New Delhi. In recent times, she has participated in Mumbai Festival-Nrityotsava of Nalanda Dance Academy. Nrityotsava of Nalanda Dance Academy is considered as a national festival, which aims at nurturing and showcasing the endowment of young performers of all Indian classical dance styles. In the popular DD Series `Parampara`, Payal has also playacted.
