Albert Hall
Built in the year 1886 AD, Albert Hall is located at wonderful Ram Niwas Garden in the lapse of nature full with pools, fountains and flowerbeds. It was designed in Indo-Saracenic style. Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob built it to commemorate the visit of King Edward VII to Jaipur. This is a symbol of imperial embellishment with a huge collection of antic paintings, superb jewelry, chiseled brasswares, earthenware. Treasures of natural stones, ivory goods, metal sculptures and crystal works also are equally admirable. Interestingly in a section of this museum an Egyptian mummy is exhibited. Exquisite dolls and foreign are displaying items of another section of this museum.

City Palace Museum
Amongst several museums of Jaipur, City Palace Museum is praiseworthy. It is an art gallery which is situated in the Diwan- I- Aam , which signifies the `Hall of public audience`. Some archetype holographs of Hindu scriptures of primitive era and also exquisite stones are in display in this museum. Exclusive are those miniaturist scripts of Bhagwat Gita , the holy book of Hindus , which are specially made so that they can be preserved from the clutches of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. Delicate miniature paintings of schools like Rajasthani, Mughal and Persian are displayed. Popular themes like Ramayana are quite enthralling. Also the painted ceilings of this City Palace are sufficient to mesmerize the visiting audiences. Elephant `saddles`, popularly called "haudha" are on display as well.

Another attraction of this City Palace Museum is Diwan- I- Khas , the hall for public audiences .There is marble strewn pavilion displaying world`s `largest silver object` , two large silver vessels. This hall also has splendid chandeliers, which have been nicely preserved. Only for the festive occasion they are open for public viewing. Till date members of regal family stay in a part of this City Palace museum, one of the important museums of Jaipur. However the visitors are allowed to visit this part where several items are being exhibited. In the outside courtyard wonderful peacock is worth watching.
