Manasvi Mamgai is an Indian supermodel and several beauty pageants winner. She is the winner of titles like Femina Miss India 2010 and Miss Tourism International 2008. She represented India at the Miss World 2010 but was unplaced. She debuted in Bollywood with Prabhu Deva directed film Action Jackson opposite Ajay Devgn. She is a trained Bharatnatyam, belly and contemporary dancer.
Early Life of Manasvi Mamgai
She was born on 10 October 1989 in New Delhi, India. Originally she is Garhwali with roots from Uttarakhand. Her father was in the construction business and mother, a teacher.
She received her school education from Chandigarh. As a student, Mamgai was involved in extracurricular activities like dancing and skating. She bagged multiple state awards in dancing, including "Best Dancer" awards from the Shinchang Institute of Performing Arts and the Chandigarh Art Theatre.
Career of Manasvi Mamgai
Mamgai started her career with modelling at the age of 16. She signed up with Elite Model Management India and started participating in various prestigious beauty pageants. She won the Elite Model Look India and also debuted at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, where she was chosen as one of 16 "New Faces Going Places". She also won the Miss Tourism International held in Malaysia in December 2008. Her biggest achievement came when she was crowned Femina Miss India on April 30, 2010. In the competition she also bagged five subtitles including Miss Golden Heart and Miss Catwalk in the pageant. She represented India at the Miss World 2010 but was unplaced.
In addition to this, she has worked with many top Indian fashion designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra etc. She has shot campaigns for Fair and Lovely and features for top Indian and international magazines.
Mamgai made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the Prabhu Deva directed action comedy film Action Jackson. The film featured Ajay Devgn in dual roles.
