Kshama

Kshama , the act of forgiveness, also termed as "punya karma", gives the human mind to free the psyche from all the negativity and impurities and to proceed towards a divine consciousness and harmony . Kshama releases the pain inherent in depth of a soul and the light of Prayer along with Kshama shows the way to eternal happiness and peace of the soul.

The act of Kshama can not be acquired from the preceptors or gurus but can be attained through the incessant act of the refreshment of soul by "tyag". The control over the mind and body by freeing them from anger, despondency and violence, is an essential to take possession of the virtuous act of Kshama .

The lack of the virtue Kshama can give rise to the demonic qualities of a human being and descend the soul to animal nature. The ancient scripture "Mahabharata" shows the instance to this as the role of the two brothers of Kauravas -Duryodhana and Dussasana, the embodiments of hatred and jealousy.

Kshama, the act of forgiveness, needs the purification of soul and mind. To gain the complete sanity of the psyche, the forms of meditation, visualization and affirmation can be of great help. To master Kshama , self forgiveness, self love and self realization are essential and these develop the insight and proceeds self-growth.

To free the mind and body from the ultimate good or evil and not judging the reason of any result encourages the act of Kshama. Research has proved that Kshama is not only a noble act but it is beneficial for the person who forgives more than who is forgiven and enhances the power to love and repose.
