One of the great chisti silsila mystic, Khwaja Ghulam Farid, born at Hijri in the year of 1261 and he got his education from his brother during his childhood and he was also initiated to spiritualism, by his brother. Ghulam Farid was well learned about poetry and philosophy and he was extremely devoted to his brother.
Khwaja Ghulam Farid was almost like a descendant to his brother and he idolized him so much that he did not find any difference between his brother and the God. Farid knew a lot of languages and he was an expert of the languages like Sindhi, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Persian and Punjabi. He has also written a lot of poems and some of his utterances are the finest gems and examples of great love-poetry.
After getting the spiritual attainment in his early life, Khwaja Ghulam Farid reached the stage of permanent bliss, that is known as fannah-fillah and he also rose above all the religious bigotry and hatred. The only religion that he spread and always talked about was to serve the goodness of humanity and humility was always the core of his teachings. He said that anyone can achieve the eternal truth through love and dedication and he also preached the monotheistic image of god. He left the earthly abode in the year 1319 at his birthplace, Hijri.
