Khaleel Ahmed is an Indian Cricket Player. He made his debut for the national team in September 2018. A left-arm medium pacer and opening bowler for India Under-19s, Khaleel Ahmed has been a dependable performer at the youth level. He came into the Under-19 World Cup in 2016 with 12 wickets in three innings, including 3 for 29 against Sri Lanka in the final of the Tri-Nation Under-19s tournament in Colombo.
Early Life of Khaleel Ahmed
Khaleel Khursheed Ahmed was born on 5th December, 1997 in Tonk, Rajasthan. He decided to take the sport seriously and that got him a place in the India Under-19 squad for the 2016 World Cup.
Domestic Career of Khaleel Ahmed
Khaleel Ahmed made his Twenty20 debut for Rajasthan in the 2016–17 Inter-State Twenty-20 Tournament on 2017. Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was part of Indian Cricket Team for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2016. He made his first-class debut for Rajasthan in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 6th October 2017.
In January 2018, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 Indian Premier League. He made his List A debut for Rajasthan in the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 5th February 2018.
International Career of Khaleel Ahmed
In September 2018, he was named in India"s One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2018 Asia Cup. He made his ODI debut for India against Hong Kong on 18th September 2018.
In October 2018, he was named in India"s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against the West Indies. He made his T20I debut for India against the West Indies on 4th November 2018.
