Kashmira Shah, Bollywood ActressKashmira Shah was born on born 2 December 1970 in Mumbai. She is the Granddaughter of famous Hindustani classical singer, Anjanibai Lolekar. She studied in Jai Hind College, Mumbai, before her modelling career. Kashmira Shah tied the knot with an American investment banker Brad Listermann but their marriage did not last for a very long period.

Film Career of Kashmira Shah
In the year 1993 Kashmira won the Miss World University India award and she went on to national contest in South Korea and won the Miss Talent Award. In the year 1995 she was inaugurated as Miss Globe and was crowned the Miss Globe India. She was amongst the top 5 finalists and also won the Best National Costume award. Kashmira made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film Yes Boss starring the Bollywood Badshaah Shahrukh Khan and the ex Miss India Juhi Chawla. She was well recognized for her role in the very popular underworld movie Vaastav starring the Sanjay Dutt. Later she won much fame and recognition after her performance in Jungle. She made her mark in the film industry by movies like Pyaar to Hona Hi Tha, Koi Kissi Se Kam Nahin, Saazish.

Though Kashmira`s roles in these movies were very brief she carved out a niche for her self in the hearts of her fans and producers as well. In another project Dulhaan Banoo Mein Teri the audiences saw her in the lead role. She had also done 2 plays titled as Meena Kumari and Laila. She has also played the female leads in television soaps like Baat Ban Jaye and Saturday Suspense. In the year 2002 she appeared in the lead-supporting role in Janasheen. In 2000 she was also nominated for Best Female in a Negative Role at Screen Videocon Awards for the chartbuster Jungle. In the year 2001 she performed an item number in Dil Pe Maat Le Yaar.

Kashmira was a participant in the reality show Big Boss .She also appeared in Naach Baliye 3 with Krushna Abhishek and also in Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar which were dance reality shows. In 2010, Kashmira appeared on TV Drama show Baat Hamari Pakki Hai.
