In the evening however Jhilli takes up a new visage. Under the moonlit sky, Jhilli appears serene and resplendent. The ambience becomes ideal for spending a beautiful evening. The water of Jhilli is surrounded by lush greenery and is a delight for nature lovers.

Some other beautiful sites are also situated near Jhilli. Hatibari is a forest area located about 9 kilometres from Jhilli. Subarnarekha River flows gracefully through this dense forest depicting a picturesque view. Gopiballavpur is another attractive destination which houses the Temple of Gopiballavji.

Jhilli offers some enticing activities for the tourists and picnic groups. Paddle boating in the waters of Jhilli is thoroughly enjoyed by the people. Apart from this, bonfire is also popular among the people visiting this charming place. Facilities for the accommodation of tourists like tents and bungalows are also available here. Good dining facilities are also provided to the tourists. The ideal time for visiting Jhilli is winter season when numerous migratory birds gather along the banks of Jhilli.
