Jasvinder Singh  , Indian Ghazal SingerJasvinder Singh possesses a `soft and silky voice` with which he has proved his courageousness as an performing artist. Jasvinder Singh has been considered as the ghazal singer who has ghazals in his blood. Being the son of illustrious music director Kuldip Singh of Saath Saath (Tum ko dekha to yeh khayal aaya), and Ankush fame (itni shakti hamein dena data), he has also proved his brilliant talent in the sphere of ghazal. Apart from being an accomplished ghazal singer, Jasvinder has also proved his brilliance in the field of academics. He has done masters degree in the discipline of Philosophy. Under the great tutelage of Pt. Ajay Pohankar and later under his celebrated mother, Dr. Sushila Pohankar, Jasvinder Singh has received music training in light classical and classical music respectively. Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh with his expert guidance is also constantly supporting his brilliant talent.

In the Mega finals of TVS Sa-Re-Ga-Ma, Jasvinder Singh was acknowledged as the Best Singer. TVS Sa-Re-Ga-Ma was the popular musical programme on ZEE TV. Jasvinder Singh has lent his voice for the film "Train To Pakistan" and tele serials such as "Naya Nukkad", Discovery of India, Chitrahar (DD1), Kacchi Kandh (Alpha Punjabi), Ittefaq (ZEE), Raja Ka Baaja (DD), Supriya (SAAB TV), Sarhad, Papa (B4U) and Rang Shala (Zee). Aaiye Muskuraiye and U-Turn are his forthcoming serials where he has lend his voice.

With the big recording house Tips, he has released his solo album " Yours Truly ". the album includes eight tuneful numbers by eminent poets, like Payam Saeedi, Naqsh Layalpuri, Bashir Badr, Jigar Muradabadi, Rahat Indori and Shahid. In Europe and US the Eastern Music Promotion (UK) has brought out his ghazal album "Jazba-a-Dil". In the album "Dilkash", he takes the help of the poetry of Ghalib, Daag, Bahadur Shah Zafar and Payam Saeedi among others. In "Mere Humdum" and "Yaar Ki Koi Khabar Nahin", he is in form in this album.

Jasvinder Singh had a very low-profile launch. But through his talent and a quality of naturalness and simplicity, as demonstrated through this album, he in the shadows won`t be for too long. At this time, he is processing his new album, which will be released with Tips music. In India, Jasvinder Singh gives regular concerts. He has also given concerts in UK as well, which received well appreciation. He has developed his own unique style of performing Ghazal. Through his concerts and mehfils he has always magnetized his audiences throughout world. The art of singing on which he has also mastered. He can also render some foot-tapping Punjabi songs, which he likes to sing in his concert for the finale of TVS Sa-Re-Ga-Ma.
