Bobby Aloysius
Bobby Aloysius was born on 30th May 1974. She is a female athlete from India now residing in the United Kingdom. She held the Indian and south Asian record hold in high jump. Bobby participated the Athens Olympics, won silver in Busan Asian Games and won gold in Jakarta Asian Championship.

Suresh Babu
Suresh Babu was an Indian long jumper from Kerala who had held the national titles in the long, triple, and high jump events, in addition to the decathlon. Suresh Babu dominated the scene between 1972 and 1979, winning national titles in the jumps and decathlon and at the same time picking his event for laurels on the international arena.

Vijay Singh Chauhan
Vijay Singh Chauhan is a former Indian athlete who won gold medal in decathlon in 1974 Asian Games. He participated in 1972 Olympics. He was born in 1949 in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He was honoured with Arjuna Award.

Varun Singh Bhati
Varun Singh Bhati is a para high jumper from India. Varun Singh Bhati is afflicted by Poliomyelitis at young age. He joined sports during school days. He had won several medals in international events including bronze at 2016 Summer Paralympic Games.

Nikhil Chittarasu
Nikhil Chittarasu is an Indian high jumper. He finished eighth at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games, thirteenth at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, won the silver medal at the 2010 South Asian Games, competed at the 2010 Asian Games without reaching the final and finished ninth at the 2013 Asian Championships.

Gurbachan Singh Randhawa
Gurbachan Singh Randhawa (born 6 June 1939, Nangli, Amritsar in Punjab) is a former Indian athlete who won gold medal at 1962 Asian Games in decathlon. He participated in 1960 and 1964 Olympics in 110 hurdles, high jump and decathlon. He finished fifth in 110 hurdles at 1964 Tokyo Olympics with timing of 14.07 seconds. He was honoured with Arjuna Award in 1961 and with Padma Shri in 2005.

Ajit Singh Balla
Ajit Singh Balla is an Indian former high jumper who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics.

Hari Shankar Roy
Hari Shankar Roy was an Indian track and field athlete from West Bengal who specialised in the high jump. He held the previous national record of 2.25 meters set on 28th September 2004 in Singapore during the Asian All-Stars Athletic Championship.

Sahana Kumari
Sahana Kumari was born on 6th March 1986 is an Indian athlete who competes in the high jump event. She is the current national record holder at 1.92 m.

Sharad Kumar
Sarad Kumar was born on 1st March in the year 1992. He is an Indian para high jumper and a former world no. 1. He was born in Patna, Bihar. He made his International debut at the 2010 Asian Para Games. At the 2014 Asian Para Games, he won the gold medal in the high jump (T42), breaking a 12-year Asian Games record, and reclaimed the world no. 1 position. Kumar participated in the 2016 Summer Paralympics finishing sixth.

Bhim Singh
Bhim Singh was born on 13th April in the year 1945 in Dhanana. He is an Indian former high jumper who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics.

Jithin C. Thomas
Jithin C. Thomas was born on 1st June 1990. He is an Indian high jumper. He won the silver medal at the 2013 Asian Championships. His personal best is 2.22 meters, achieved in September 2012 in Chennai.

Mariyappan Thangavelu
Mariyappan Thangavelu was born on 28th June in the year 1995. He is an Indian Paralympic high jumper. He represented India in the 2016 Summer Paralympic games held in Rio de Janeiro in the men`s high jump T-42 category, winning the gold medal in the finals. He is India`s first Paralympian gold medalist since 2004. Tamil film director Aishwaryaa Dhanush is making a film about his life and achievements titled "Mariyappan".
