Gummanayakana Kote

Gummanayakana Kote is a fort located in Karnataka State, most of the parts of which have now ruined. It is built with seven rings of wall.

Gummanayakana Kote, KarnatakaGummanayakana Kote is a fort located at Chikkaballapura District of Karnataka state. Most of the fort has now been in ruins. The fort is situated atop a hill. There are temples near the fort, which are dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Hanuman. Three gateways of the fort are now operational and they are made out of thick walls. This fort is built with seven rings of wall with arched floral window and grills.

Visiting Information to Gummanayakana Kote
Chikkaballapur Railway Station and Bangalore Airport are the nearest to visit the fort. National Highway 69 connects this district to other major parts of the country.
