Garchuk Lachit Garh is a historical fort in the state of Assam.

Garchuk Lachit Garh, Guwahati, AssamLocated in the south western part of the city of Guwahati in the state of Assam, the Garchuk Lachit Garh was constructed under the Ahom kingdom around 1670 CE. The fort of Garchuk Lachit Garh stretches from the northern Fatasil hills at a length of about 3 km.

Built from granite stone and lime mortar, the fortification was constructed centuries ago to deter the Mughal cavalry. This was done with two earthen ramparts and water filled lakes in between and ditches dug in front. Currently in ruins, the Garchuk Lachit Garh fort once used to be the site for Ahom- Mughal conflicts.
