Deborah Herold is an Indian cyclist and she is the wonder girl of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and made herself in bicycling championships with her sheer determination and dedication. From the devastation of tsunami, Deborah Herold managed herself to survive and later on, she managed to continue her training as a cyclist in Indian competition, and as a result, Deborah Herold won much appreciation in the state level and national level cycle championships which are held in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Punjab, Ludhiana and Delhi (Asian Cycling Championship).

Deborah Herold was born on February 18th in the year 1995. She is hailing from the Indian Union Territory, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Surviving of Deborah Herold
In the destructive tsunami that hit Port Blair in 2004, when Deborah Herold was a 9-year old kid she had to spend an entire day on a tree to save herself; when her entire family got displaced due to the natural calamity. Her story of struggle started from that moment and there was no looking back after this. She re-built her life from scratch and with her hard work and the training she got in Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Deborah Herold emerged as one of the rising and one of the most favourite stars of Indian cycling.
Achievements of Deborah Herold
Deborah Herold has the achievements with gold, silver and bronze medals. She won 4 gold in Track Asia Cup Cycling Championship 2014 of New Delhi. She also won 2 gold medals in the women"s elite Keirin (8 laps) and Sprint finals (3 laps) - on the final day of the championship for an overall individual tally of 4 gold medals. She won two gold medals in the junior category in the 2012 Nationals in Amritsar, Punjab and has been a regular part of the Indian squad since then. Deborah Herold also won the best medal haul (1 silver and 2 bronze) for an Indian cyclist in the junior category of the Hero Asian Cycling championship which was held in New Delhi.
