Cycling Federation of India is the national governing body of cycle racing in India. It is non governmental body of autonomous power for the cycling competition in India only for mere competition in the hilly or the plain area of India, but also it appreciates the social causes like global warming, pollution, female infanticide and many other social causes.

Introduction of Cycling by Cycling Federation of India
Cycling as a sport was introduced in India with the efforts of Janki Das in mid 1930s. It found its International level when Janki Das, the lone Indian cyclist participated in the British Empire Games at Sydney (Australia) in 1938 with Swami Jagan Nath accompanied as Manager. With the pioneering of these two, Indian Cycling was to secure affiliation of National Cycling Federation to the National Cyclists Union of England. A few years later, another stalwart Sohrab H. Bhoot of Mumbai, Maharashtra and Janki Das joined hands in furtherance of cycling sports and formed the National Cyclists Federation of India in 1946 and secure affiliation of this new body with Union Cyclists International (UCI). The Cycling Federation of India then sent teams of cyclists to the Olympics, the Asian games, and major international cycling events.
