The Cycling Federation of India (CFI) is a pioneer in the promotion of cycling in India and directs, develops and regulates cycling under all forms in the country.

Cycling now has a very strong competitive community striving to be the best. The right support and encouragement from the government can put India further and wider on to the world stage. Some of the prominent cyclists in India are as follows.

Deborah Herold
Deborah Herold is a 20-year old female cyclist from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and has carved a niche for herself in bicycle racing in India and also at an international level with her sheer determination and dedication.

Mahitha Mohan
Mahitha Mohan is a cyclist who has been national champion in multiple road, track and mountain bike events. At the 2010 South Asian Games, she was the 50 km Mass Start gold medal winner. She was named India"s best cyclist in 2010.

Rusi Mulla Feroze
Rusi Mulla Feroze was an Indian cyclist. He competed in the sprint event at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Rajesh Chandrasekar
Rajesh Chandrasekar is an Indian male road and track cyclist. On the road he competed at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. At the track he competed in the scratch event at the 2013 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.

Rohinton Noble
Rohinton Noble was an Indian cyclist. He competed in the time trial and the team pursuit events at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Bikram Singh
