If the Life line is in chains whereas the next two lines, that are head line and heart line are solid, it shows an unfavourable busy youth of an individual where they experience depression and lots of suffering all day. On the other hand, the individual can achieve something if he or she keeps trying and hardworking without giving up in the middle. 

If the Life line is in chains while the next two, head and heart lines, are ill-defined, it indicates that the individual is born to be weak, prone to stomach diseases, kidney diseases and lung diseases. Due to the poor health, the individual will hardly live for a long life and lead a busy life. Length of the chain shows a relationship of the duration of time that all of the problematic issues can end. 

Line under the Thumb: A chained line beneath the thumb is often interpreted as a reflection of one’s relationship with family. When the chain is clearly marked throughout its entire length, it is believed to indicate a lifelong closeness and strong bond with family members. If the chain gradually fades or breaks toward the lower part, it may suggest a tendency to grow distant from family in later years, possibly due to living apart or evolving life circumstances.
