Bhalki Machan has a vast area of land with gigantic lake amidst the lush green vegetation. While visiting Bhalki Machan, one can see the rajbari or the royal homes of the early zamindars. They used to build watchtowers at one side of the water body and hunted wild animals using bows, arrows and guns. This has given the place its name Bhalki Machan.

Visiting Information
Bhalki Machan can be reached by road and railways. It can be travelled by car, then cross Bardhaman and drive about 30 km to locate the Mankor station. After crossing Mankor station, one need to reach Abhirampur and finally reaches Bhalki Machan.
