Aryan Vaid has been part of many interesting professions before fetching a supermodel. He joined a three-year catering course at a reputed hotel management institute in Mumbai. He worked as a chef in famous hotel, The Leela in Mumbai before he ventured into establishing his own catering business. He was also a lifestyle columnist with the Hindustan Times. Following that he joined the Sahara Airlines as a flight pursuer.

Aryan Vaid is the first Indian male to win the Grasim Mr. International award. This was the major turning point of his career. Pitted against 25 contestants from all over the globe, he won the esteemed award making the whole nation proud. Aryan Vaid has also tried his hands in acting and was actively involved in theatre. He also enacted brief roles in street plays in the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. He did some small roles in few tele-soaps to his credit. He has made his acting debut in the movie “Market” with the very glamorous Manisha Koirala, Suman Ranganathan and Sweta Menon. He has also appeared in the reality show “Bigg Boss” on the small screen but he was soon voted out. After that his fans saw him in a meaty role in the film “Apne” directed by Anil Sharma and the movie was average run but Aryan marked up by the decent reviews for his acting and his physique. Among his other movie credits are “Chaahat Ek Nasha”, “Naam Gum Jaayega”, “Aisa Kyon Hota Hai?”, “Ghutan”, “Right Yaaa Wrong”, “Love U Crazy Girl” and “Dramebaaz Kalakaar”.

After trying his hands in movies, the actor moved to the Indian TV industry and played the role of "Duryodhan" in Ekta Kapoor"s mythological show “Kahaani Humari Mahabharat Ki”. He was also seen as "Harry" in Zee TV"s show “Rab se Sonha Ishq” and also hosted a lifestyle show “Whattalife”. apart from these, Aryan Vaid also appeared on various television Shows like – “Bigg Boss”, “Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki”, “Choona Hai Asmaan”, “Udaan” etc. Aryan Vaid was also seen playing the role of "Lord Indra" in the popular Indian mythological television series “Jai Santoshi Maa” which airs on &TV.
