Shweta Menon is an Indian model who did job in a number of Hindi and Malayalam movies. Apart from this she worked in a number of Tamil Productions.

Shweta Menon, Bollywood ActressShweta Menon was born on April 23. She is an Indian actress who starred in more than 30 films. Shweta Menon became a popular name for her work and appearance in PT Kunhahammed`s award winning Malayalam film Paradesi. Shweta Menon belongs to Calicut and her father was in the Indian Air Force. She completed her education in the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Calicut. Shweta contended in the Miss India contest and came third.

Shweta Menon started her career as an actress in a Malayalam movie - `Anaswaram` (1991), directed by Jomon. She was the heroine of Mammooty. After this she concentrated on modeling. She was one of the final round contestants for Best Supporting Actress award in the 2008 Kerala State Film Awards. She has appeared in several Hindi and a few Malayalam Cinema.

Besides working in films, she has anchored several TV, stage and film awards shows. She is one of Kerala`s popular TV anchors through the musical programme - Star Wars on Kairali TV in 2008. She won Asian Television`s Best Anchor award for the same program. In Hindi, she remained a host of a Group Dance based show named Razzmatazz on Zee TV along with actor Arshad Warsi.

On 18 June 2011, she married Sreevalsan Menon, a native of Thrissur who works in Mumbai.
