Amrita Saluja made her acting debut with the television serial Time Bomb that was aired on Zee TV. Amrita Saluja appeared in the role of a journalist in the serial that was created by Ketan Mehta.

Early Life and Career
Amrita Saluja was born and brought up in Jamshedpur. She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel School in Dhanbad; and later on from St. Lawrence at Sanawar. She then completed her graduation from St. Xavier`s College in Mumbai. Her first modelling assignment was for the cosmetics brand Ponds. Later she went on to become Brand Ambassador for Whirlpool Home Appliances and Su-kam inverters. Apart from these she has also endorsed many other popular brands. Amrita Saluja is happily married to Rahul Raichand.

Career in Television
Amrita Saluja has acted in few serials like Mahi Way and Time Bomb. The major turning point in her career came with the serial Time Bomb in which she was playing the main female character. In Time Bomb, directed by Ketan Mehta, she played the role of Roma Awasthi. She appeared as the wife of Rajeev Khandelwal, the main protagonist of the series, who is a member of a secret Government agency, called Agency to Counter Terrorism. She also acted in a tele-film named Humko Ishq ne Maara, which was aired on STAR TV in the year 2001. She also appeared in an important character in the children`s feature film Detective Naani.

Apart from acting in these shows Amrita Saluja has also hosted and anchored many prestigious shows like Big Nite, Bollywood Ke Sitare, Whirlpool Women`s Achievers Awards, Aaj Ki Filmy Khabar, Sona Lai Ja Re and others. Other than these Amrita Saluja also featured in many other advertisements like Ponds Dream Fairness Cream, Pepsodent Tooth Brush, Tata Tea, Exide Batteries, Parle Magix Biscuits, Cerelac Baby Food, Clinic Plus Shampoo, Fair and Lovely, Nihar Hair Oil, Nalli Sarees, Everest Masala, Jeet Masalas, Sleepwell Matress, Boroline Baby Oil, Berger Paints, TVC Skyshop, Maxo Mosquito Repellent, Leo Matell Toys, Nirma Shudh Namak, Dabur Honitus Cough Syrup, Action Shoes, Domex Floor Cleaner, Al Kabeer Foods, Aquaguard, Wipro Talc, Maggi Noodles, Ayush Soaps, Cello Pens, Taj Mahal Atta, Dabur Shampoo, Modiguard Glass and others.
