An Indian television actor, Akshay Dogra is also a producer who has been working in the television industry for a while now. He has worked on many shows during his career, both on-screen and off-screen. Best known for his work in Television Serials, Akshay Dogra made his debut as an actor in TV serial named 12/24 Karol Bagh which was aired on Zee TV. He became popular for his work in the 2011 TV serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon in which he portrayed the role of Aakash Singh Raizada.

Akshay Dogra was born on 21st September 1981 and brought up in New Delhi with his younger sister, fellow actress Riddhi Dogra. He was 21 years old when he decided to enter the entertainment industry.

Career of Akshay Dogra
In 2002, Akshay Dogra started working behind the scenes as Executive producer as well as a member of the Creative Unit of many shows. For a while after moving to Mumbai, he worked as an assistant to Deepak Tijori. He eventually moved on to acting.

After transitioning from behind the camera to acting, Akshay Dogra landed a role on Zee TV"s hit show “12/24 Karol Bagh”. He also acted in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on UTV Bindass, alongside Shweta Gulati. Although he was not a lead and this show didn"t make him a household name, it did earn him enough success to help him land his next role. After his role on "12/24 Karol Bagh" ended, Akshay Dogra landed the role of Akash Singh Raizada in the very popular Hindi daily soap Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on STAR Plus. His character is the cousin of the male lead Arnav, who falls in love and gets married to the sister, Payal of the female lead Khushi. His role on this show made him much more popular and opened up many new opportunities for him.

In 2011, he also acted in stage play, "Apples and Walnut", about valley of Kashmir. However, in October 2012, he quit the show due to lack of importance given to his character.
