Aashish Kaul is a talented actor of Indian television and has marked a niche for himself in the hearts of Indian TV watchers. He became popular for playing the character of Subroto in the popular Balaji soap `Kasauti Zindagi Kay`. This brilliant actor has not ccome much to the limelight despite having played very strong roles in `Ghutan`, `Kkusum` and `Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii` and `Saathiya`. He did also significant roles in another Zee Tv soap `Piya Ka Ghar`.
In the Balaji soap `Kasautii Zindagi Kay` Aashish Kaul essayed the role of Komolika`s (played by Urvashi Dholakia) husband. His character in this soap started off with a negative shade and then turned positive for a considerable span of time but again it ended on a negative note.
In another popular soap `Aek Chhabi Hain Pados Mein` he plays the role of a sophisticated NRI who wants to get his father back from the United States.
