![]() History of Kannigiri Kannigiri used to be a parallel kingdom when the poet and the king Nne Choddu rules Udayagiri in Nellore. According to the legends, the fifth king of this dynasty during 13th century ruled over Kanigiri by defeating king Choddu’s grandchildren. At that time, Sri Krishna Devarayas ruled over the Kanigiri Fort.
