Early Life of Gurdeep Kohli
Gurdeep Kohli was born on January 30, 1980. Born in a Sikh family, she is of Punjabi descent. She started her career as a model, acting in many ad commercials on Indian television, endorsing for prominent brands that include Cadbury, Ponds, ICICI Bank, Bazee.com, Ariel and Nestle. She also featured in the music video of Pankaj Udhas titled "Mujhse Dosti Karoge" and in Falguni Pathaks music video "Haire Mere Hui Gulabi". It was until STAR TVs popular medical drama Sanjivani - A Medical Boon, where she made her breakthrough portraying Dr. Juhi Singh, one of the protagonist characters.
Acting Career of Gurdeep Kohli
Gurdeep Kohli made her breakthrough on Indian television, playing one of the main leads Dr. Juhi Singh in STAR Plus popular show Sanjivani - A Medical Boon. She later worked in Zee TV's popular soap Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, portraying Vedika Raizada. She was seen in STAR One's Jet Set Go and STAR Plus dance reality show Nach Baliye 2, where she participated alongside her spouse, TV actor Arjun Punj. Later, she appeared in Zee TVs Kasamh Se, as Pronita Mitra, who later turns out to be Bani Jai Walia. She also worked in Disney Channels sitcom Best Of Luck Nikki, as Hemani Singh. She also appeared as Gitanjali in STAR Plus soap opera Bhabhi and as Inspector Meenakshi Dixit in the channels action crime fiction series Arjun. She also played the main antagonist Maya/Baiji in STAR Plus' long running show Diya Aur Baati Hum and also made an appearance in Sony TVs courtroom drama Adaalat. Gurdeep also acted as the female protagonist Anandita Ram Ahuja in Sony TVs Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane, opposite Ram Kapoor. The actress is currently hosting her own cooking programme titled Bacha Party and ABC (All 'Bout Cooking), airing on Zee Khana Khazana channel.
Gurdeep Kohli also appeared as a singer in 2003 Tamil film Boys and police officer Razia Khan in the 2012 Bollywood film Rowdy Rathore.

Gurdeep Kohli married television actor and co-star from Sanjivani - A Medical Boon, Arjun Punj on December 10, 2006. The couple had their first child on March 24, 2010, a girl they named Meher, and were blessed with a baby boy on August 21, 2015, who they named Mahir.
