Papum Pare District
Papum Pare district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. As of 2011, it is the most populous district of Arunachal Pradesh. Papum Pare district is divided into four sub-divisions like Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh, Yupia, and Sagalee. Papum Pare district is further divided into 16 administrative circles, namely, Tarasso, Balijan, Sangdupota, Banderdava, Itanagar, Naharlagun, Yupia, Doimukh, Gumto,nirjuli, Toru, Kimin, Kakoi, Sagalee, Leporiang, Parang, and Mengio. Papum Pare district is the gateway to the Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Papum Pare district has the headquarters which is located at Yupia. Papum Pare district occupies an area of 2,875 square kilometers. The capital of the state is Itanagar, which is also located in Papum Pare District.
