Sriharikota Known as the island town for the satellite rocket launching, Shriharikota houses the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. It is not the part of tourism in Andhra Pradesh, but one need to take the permit to visit this island. Sriharikota is located in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh and separates Pulicat Lake from the Bay of Bengal. |
