Jackky Bhagnani, Bollywood Actor Jackky Bhagnani is a contemporary Indian actor seen in Bollywood movies. Son of the Bollywood film producer Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky made his acting debut in the year 2009 with the Hindi film "Kal Kissne Dekha`, a science fiction romance alongside debutante Vaishali Desai. Produced by his father under the banner Puja Entertainment (India) Ltd., the film was a box office failure. He next appeared in the 2011 comedy film `F.A.L.T.U`, directed by Remo D`Souza, alongside Puja Gupta in the lead and Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi in supporting roles. The film, though negatively reviewed by critics, was a moderate box office success. He was last seen in the 2015 comedy `Welcome 2 Karachi`, alongside Arshad Warsi. It was negatively received by critics. Jackky has stated that all the 6 films he has acted in have been produced under his father Vashu Bhagnani`s banner. He recently turned producer, co-producing the film `Sarbjit`, a biographical drama narrating the incidents from the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national who was convicted of terrorism and spying by a court in Pakistan.

Early Life of Jackky Bhagnani
Jackky Bhagnani was born on December 25, 1984, in Kolkata, West Bengal, into a Sindhi family to Hindi film producer Vashu Bhangnani and Pooja Bhagnani. He completed his schooling in Welham Boys School and St. Teresa`s High School, post which he pursued a degree in Commerce from H. R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He has also done an acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York.

Career of Jackky Bhagnani
Jackky Bhagnani was credited as an Associate Producer in the 2003 Hindi film `Out of Control`, produced by his father Vashu Bhagnani. He made his film debut with the film `Kal Kissne Dekha`, which came out in 2009. The movie garnered mostly negative reviews and was unsuccessful at the box office. He subsequently starred in the comedy `F.A.L.T.U`, released in April 2011, which also received generally negative reviews and did modestly well at the box office. In May 2015, Jackky revealed that a sequel to the movie has been planned. He was next seen in `Ajab Gazabb Love` that released in 2012 but was a non-starter at the box office. His next film `Rangrezz`, directed by Priyadarshan, was released in 2014. It garnered excellent reviews and featured Jackky Bhagnani dancing to Psy`s "Gangnam Style", the rights of which were bought by Vashu Bhagnani, the producer of the film, for an undisclosed sum. The film, nevertheless, failed to make any impact at the box office.

Jackky Bhagnani, Bollywood Actor Jackky`s next film was `Youngistaan`, a love story set against the backdrop of Indian politics. Released in 2014, the movie was panned by critics and was a commercial failure. Jackky was last been seen in `Welcome 2 Karachi`, released on May 28, 2015. Besides receiving poor reviews from critics, the film failed at the box office, also unable to compete with `Tanu Weds Manu Returns` that released a week earlier. In 2016, he turned into producing movies. He produced Sarbjit with Deepshikha Deshmukh, his sister. Sarbjit became a successful movie commercially. The biographical drama film `Sarbjit` was based upon the life of Sarabjit Singh portrayed by Randeep Hooda, co-featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as "Sarabjit`s sister Dalbir Kaur, with Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumaar essaying supporting roles. `Sarbjit` has been declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh by the state government. In 2017, he acted and produced another short film known as "Carbon". The film was released over You Tube. Later to that, in 2018, he again produced two films known as "Dil Juunglee" and "Welcome to New York". Further he made a Tamil debut opposite to Trisha in "Mohini", a horror film. He has plans to appear in the movie "Aandwaa" directed by Abir Sengupta.
