Kriti Sanon is an Indian actress popular for the Bollywood film Heropanti. She made her acting debut with Sukumar's Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine. Before stepping into films, she worked as a model and endorsed several brands. Sanon bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in Heropanti.
Early Life of Kriti Sanon
She was born on 27th July 1990 in New Delhi, India. Her father Rahul Sanon is a Chartered Accountant and mother Geeta Sanon is an Associate Professor at Delhi University. She has one younger sister, Nupur Sanon. Kriti completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, R K Puram. She received her bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electronics and Communication, from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
Early Life of Kriti Sanon
Sanon kick-started her film career in 2014 with the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine. This Neo-noir psychological thriller was written and directed by Sukumar. In the film she played the role of Sameera. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
She also made her debut in Bollywood in 2014 with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff, son of Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff. This action-romance film was directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It received mixed reviews from most critics, and BoxofficeIndia.com called it a commercial success at the Indian box office.
Apart from films, she is also involved into endorsing several brands and products such as the coconut hair oil brand, chocolate ad with Arjun Rampal, Parachute Jasmine, apparel brand American Swan and a cola brand and many others.
Achievements of Kriti Sanon
She won BIG Star Entertainment Award for Heropanti in 2015.
She also bagged Filmfare Award in the category of Best Female Debut in 2015.
She was nominated for Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow for Heropanti in 2014.
