Located next to the picturesque Kanke Dam, the Rock Garden has been developed into an artificial garden, complete with waterfalls and sculptures. The Garden is one of the major facilitators of tourism in the Ranchi district.

The Rock Garden of Ranchi is built on the lines of the Rock Gardens of Chandigarh and Jaipur. The sculptures in the Rock Garden of Ranchi were built out of the rocks of the Gonda Hill of Jharkhand. Aesthetically pleasing in appearance, the Garden strikes a perfect balance between the ancient and modern creativity of men.
Other than these, there is also a swing made of iron rod with two edges along with varied forms of sculptures and waterfalls that add to the beauty of this place. Being located in the heart of the city, the Rock Garden is a sanctuary for nature lovers and tourists in general.
