![]() Early Life of Shail Hada Shail Hada was born on 11th April 1975 in Rajasthan to Shri Jaswant Singh Hada, a celebrated Indian vocalist. He received his initial training in Hindustani classical music from his father. Shail completed his schooling from St. Pauls Mala road, Kota. He did his Masters in music from Kota University. He also received the degree of Sangeet Visharad from Gandharava Mahavidyalya under the expert tutelage of his guru Pt. Aaskaran Sharma. He later came to Mumbai and joined Mumbai University in the department of music. His participations at various national level competitions at the university fetched him six gold medals. ![]() Shail Hada began his career in music with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Black in which he sang the background vocals. This formed a strong association between the director and Shail and in the following years the latter worked in every film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He gained recognition and popularity in the world of music through the next directional venture of Bhansali, Saawariya. The compositions of the movie made it one of the best albums of the year 2007. In the movie Shail also worked as an assistant to the music composer Monty Sharma. In another film of Bhansali titled Guzaarish, Shail Hada worked as the chief assistant music director along with singing the title track with KK and the song 'Udi' with Sunidhi Chauhan. He also arranged the tracks 'Maza Saiba' and 'Udi'. The song 'Tera Zikhr Hain' in the movie beautifully reflects his expertise in classical singing. Apart from Bollywood he has also sung for the South Indian music industries, especially for Tamil and Telugu, singing Harris Jayaraj's compositions. Other prominent films for which Shail Hada lent his voice include Heroes, Chamku, Lafangey Parindey, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Memories in March, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and many more. In the year 2011 he performed in Laxmikant-Pyarelal concert 'Maestros' organized by Kakas Entertainment in India.
