which is based in the south-western coast of India and is present at a distance of only 5 kms away from the origin of the Athirappilly Falls
and at a distance of about 36 kms away from Chalakudy. This waterfall is existent near the Chalakudy River

s are cool and misty, and an ideal treat for the eyes of travellers and nature lovers. Due to its beauty, it is often utilized as a unique picnic spot.
Vazhachal Falls is situated about 60 kms away from the city of Thrissur. Chalakudy River
divides into three separate branches which are a part of the Vazhachal Falls and the Chalakudy River creates riparian forests. The rocks of Vazhachal Falls are covered with layers of moss and therefore are slippery, making them dangerous if visitors step on them, trying to balance their footsteps with the stream which seems to be shallow.
