Mukul Dev has made his presence felt both in the small screen as well as the silver screen by his splendid performances. He has a younger brother Rahul Dev is also a Bollywood actor. He began his acting career with the serial called 'Mumkin' directed by Mahest Bhatt. He got his first break in the silver screen with the film 'Dastaak' that was also directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
In this film he was cast with Miss Universe Sushmita Sen and Sharad Kapoor. In the movie he portrayed the role of a cop. Following this there was a succession of films but most of them failed at the box office. Mukul Dev worked in movies like 'Qila', 'Wajood', 'Mere Do Anmol Ratan' and 'Iski Topi Uske Sar'. Mukul Dev later shifted his focus to television. He acted in a number of soaps. He was a part of the Balaji soap titled 'K Street Pali Hill' and another reality show called 'Fear Factor.' In the recent years he has acted in few movies like 'Just Married', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' and 'Rajani'.
