Farah Naaz is a Bollywood actress who rose to fame during the period of 1980s and enacted in a number of movies in her short span of career. She has also acted in a few television shows.

Farah Naaz, Bollywood ActressFarah Naaz, popularly known as Farah, is a Bollywood actress who gained huge fame during the period of 1980s. She stepped into the Hindi film industry in the year 1985 with the movie Faasle. Her prominent movies include Sautela Bhai, Begunaah, Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri, Yateem, Naqab and many more. Farah had worked with several top actors of her time. The actress retired from the peak of her career in 1990s.

Early Life of Farah Naaz
Farah Naaz was born on 9th December 1968 to a Muslim family in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She is the elder sister of famed Bollywood actress Tabu and is the niece of another renowned actress Shabana Azmi.

Career of Farah Naaz
Farah Naaz made her cinematic debut with Yash Chopra`s movie Faasle in the year 1985. In the movie she appeared with Mahendra Kapoor`s son Rohan Kapoor. Although the movie did not perform well at the box office, Farah received offers from several big banners. Afterwards she was featured in big projects including K.C Bokadia`s Naseeb Apna Apna, Shakti Samanta`s Paley Khan, Pran Lal Mehta`s Love 86. He also enacted in hit films like Ghar Ghar Ki Kahaani, Rakhwala, Diljala, Woh Phir Ayegi, Baap Ek Numbari Beta Dus Numbari, Hamara Khandaan and many more. The actress got critical acclamations in J.P Dutta`s movie Yateem. She appeared with Aamir Khan in two films namely Isi Ka Naam Zindagi and Jawani Jindabad, both of which could not fetch much success. Her performance in actor-producer-director Ranjeet`s film Kaarnama in which she worked with Vinod Khanna and movie Woh Phir Ayegi are considered to be her lifetime performances. In the latter phase of her career Farah began playing supporting roles and appeared in films like Dhartiputra, Muqabla and Izzat Ki Roti out of which Muqabla got considerable success. Among her other movies Sautela Bhai received critical appreciations. Later, Farah Naaz also worked in television serials and performed in shows like Ahaa, Andaz, Amar Prem, Papa and Vailayiti Babu. After a long duration, she made her comeback in Bollywood with the movie Hulchul in the year 2004.

Personal Life of Farah Naaz
Farah Naaz was married to prominent actor Vindu Dara Singh and the couple had a son Fateh Randhawa. The couple later got divorced.
