Lingabudi Lake is situated in Srirampura, about 8 kilometres from the city centre.

Lingabudi Lake is like a dream place for nature lovers. Besides the tourists, this scenic beauty of Lingabudi Lake also invites a lot of migratory birds and is home to around 250 species of birds. Lingabudi Lake qualifies to be a bio diversity lake which allows the visitors to enjoy walking on the sidewalks of the lake. Besides, the beautiful garden just next to Lingabudi Lake is also another attraction of Mysore. Lingabudi Lake is open for tourists who come from abroad.

Lingabudi Lake is also the place of attraction for the abroad tourists and the local visitors. Lingabudi Lake is the famous spot for the photo shoot. A variety of exceptional species of bird can be spotted throughout the migratory season; birds from all over the world flies to this place during the said season. Various flowering plants such as rose, hibiscus, marigold and more include on to its overall beauty. The area is decked with trees such as gulmohar, silver oaks, climbers and creepers. The garden, beside the lake is a major attraction.

Visiting Information of Lingabudi Lake
Timing for visiting Lingabudi Lake is from 6 AM to 6 PM. There is no entry fee to this lake. Lingabudi Lake is located at a distance of about 10 kilometres from the Mysore railway station and about 12 kilometres from KSRTC bus stand. From centre of the Mysore city also it is not very far. This lake is simply accessible as a lot of buses run through this route. Visitors can also take auto-rickshaw or hire a cab to the lake.
