The Rajagiri Fort is situated in Rajagiri in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was constructed in 1200 AD. The fortress is built with black and saffron rock. The geographical coordinates are latitude 12.24°N and longitude 79.395°E. It includes several temples, such as, Kalyan Mandap, Ranganath Temple of Vijayanagar rulers and Venu Gopalaswami Temple. The mosques of Mahabbat Khan and Sadatulla Khan are also located in the vicinity.
The Rajagiri Fort consists of a stable, a granary, an elephant tank, a gymnasium, a magazine, a godown for grains, an audience hall, a palace site, a clock tower and a treasury constructed in Indo-Islamic architectural style.
