The entire area of the lake is formed in a catchments area of 7.13 kilometres square. Keetham Lake is pentagonal in shape. It is about 20 kilometres from Agra and 12 kilometres from Sikandra, located within the Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary. The lake water of Keetham is also used as raw water intake for Mathura Refinery Water Treatment Plant located in vicinity of Keetham Lake. Visiting Information of Keetham Lake Keetham Lake is open from 6 am to 6 pm daily. It takes 26 minutes to travel from Agra Cantonment Railway Station to Keetham Lake.
