Celebration of Pinjore Heritage Festival Yadavindra Garden, one of the oldest and most well maintained Mughal gardens in the world is the venue for the event every year. One of the most unique and attractive feature of the garden is the 7 descending levels of Garden arrangement. Although initially designed during the Mughal era, they have been in various hands, namely the Hill Rulers of Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas to the royal house of Patiala. The event is a cultural flux, wherein artists from all over India gather to exhibit their art and make the event successful. Lots of attractions such as Garba dance, folk dances, musical concerts, rock bands, classical music, and shopping and food bazaar keep the viewers engaged. The Yadavindra gardens are marvellously decorated which create the ambience that reflects back to Vedic times and Mughal times. The astonishing lighting, decoration and performance add an amazing energy to this event. A number of competitions are organised and also crafts bazaar and food court are set up to attach to the attraction of the festival. The live evening performances by renowned singers on both days of the festival are indeed a mass puller. It is planned in such a way by the Tourism Department of the state so that the schedule of the visitors remains full all right through. Haryana Roadways run special buses between Chandigarh, Panchkula and Pinjore at short intervals for the celebration. |
