14th Zee Cine Awards
14th Zee Cine Awards was organized on 8th February 2014 in Mumbai to honour the best films of the previous year 2013. It was aired on 23rd February on multiple channels. The show was co-anchored by Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. Music has always been a significant part of Bollywood flicks and the industry has been blessed with a number of enchanting singers over years. Zee Cine Awards for Best Playback Singer - Female appreciates the works of such soulful singers. In 2014, the nominations for this category included Bhoomi Trivedi for 'Ram Chahe Leela' (Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela), Chinmayi Sripada for 'Titli' (Chennai Express), Monali Thakur for 'Sawaar Loon' (Lootera), Palak Muchhal for 'Meri Aashiqui' (Aashiqui 2), Shalmali Kholgade for 'Balam Pichkari' (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Shreya Ghoshal for 'Sunn Raha Hai' (Aashiqui 2). In the event Shreya Ghoshal walked away with the award.
