·       A cat sneezing once is believed to bring luck. If a bride hears a cat sneeze on her wedding day, it indicates a happy marriage. However, three sneezes are said to foretell illness.

·       If a cat follows a person leaving the house, it is said to bring wealth to the family.

·       A cat giving birth to kittens inside the house is regarded as highly auspicious, attracting prosperity and protecting the home from evil forces.

·       If a person is entering a village or city or a house and sees a cat coming out of it on his right, it is inauspicious.

·       While setting out on a journey if a cat is seen on the left side, it is considered a good omen. However, if it crosses the path, it is an ill omen.
